Describe some reason for bad relationship between Sinhala and the Tamil community? (300 words)

Sinhala community did not negotiate with the Tamil community the official language was selected of the Sinhala affecting Tamil
They did not leave any preferences to Tamil that Tamil is where prohibited from getting government jobs education etc
