Special powers given to some states of the Indian Union. E.g. The state of Jammu and Kashmir enjoys the following powers:
1. It has its own written Constitution
2. Many provisions of the Indian Constitution are not applicable to this state unless approved by the State Assembly.
3. Indian who are not permanent residents of this state cannot buy land or house here.
