the heart is a first size muscular organ situated obliquely in the thoracic cavity.

that is divided into four chamber. The upper chamber is called atria . the Atrium on the left side is called left Atrium and the one on the right side call right Atrium point the walls of the atria are thin and compared to those of the lower chamber. The lower to chamber are thick walls and are called ventricles. The right chamber is called the right ventricle and the left chamber is called the left ventricle the four Chamber of the heart are separated by muscular wall called the septum . there are valves inside the heart to prevent backflow of blood. Although a given quantity of blood move through all four Chambers of the heart, yet there is never an intermixing of blood.
