Krishnadevaraya was a famous and prominent man who ruled the Vijayanagara Empire, South India. Being the Tuluva Dynasty's third ruler, he expanded the empire to the most of South India, that included present-day Northern Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and, Karnataka extending upwards till Cuttack.

He is majorly compared to the greatest emperors of Asia and Europe, for the sake of his brilliant accomplishments and exceptional ability that helped in maintaining political stability in the Deccan. By ruling the three most powerful territories in south India, he earned different titles as a mark of respect namely, ‘Kannada Rajya Rama Ramana’ (Lord of the Kannada empire) and ‘Andhra Bhoja and ‘Moore Rayara Ganda’ (King of three Kings).

Krishnadevaraya's rule marks a period of military success in Vijayanagara history. In those times, he changed battle plans sharply and turned a losing battle into victory.
