Arguments in favour of democracy : (i) Democratic form of government is accountable.(ii) It improves the quality of decision-making.(iii) It provides a method to deal with differences and conflicts.(iv) It enhances the dignity of citizen.(v) It allows us to correct our mistakes.

Arguments against democracy:(I)A bad decision can be made 2 .Govt. uses many dirty tricks.3. There is immorality 4. Some decisions led to delay 5. No people have much time to assemble to take any decision.
