Abdul Kalam's personality indeed got much influenced due to the actions of his parents and teachers.

Because his father was a fisherman who earned less and at that point the parents couldn't give much for his studies, so his sister helped him by giving him money, to utilize for his studies. This taught him how to be independent and provide for himself. Because he wanted to return the money back to his sister.

His teachers taught him, encouraged him in studying this helped him to learn alot, to grow as a person. At last, he was a great scientist it's just because of his teachers and his parents and his friends help and support. His close friends helped him to do the projects very well.
