circulatory system consists of blood the fluid connective tissue heart ,the muscular pumping organ and blod vessels that is arteries ,veins and cappilaries.

the function of heart is to pump blood to various organs. the human heart has 4 chambers two atrium and 2 ventricle, the left side of heart pumps pure oxygenated blood while right side of the heart pumps deoxygenated blood.

the rt. atrium receives blood from various bod parts via superior and inferior vena cava. while left atrium receives oxygenated blood from lungs via pulmonary veins. rt ventricles pumpblood to the pulmonary artery, and leht ventricle pumps blood via aorta.

heart muscle has SA NODE AV NODE WHICH excite the muscle and cause contraction of the chambers leading to pumping

good luck
