Hey!

1 . Around the rib cage during inspiration the inter coastal muscles contract

2.the diaphragm contract( moves down) and lungs move down as well as outward

Due to these changes the pressure in lungs decreases because volume increases and we know that Air moves from a region of higher pressure to a region of lower pressure so air moves inside the lungs

3.The chest cavity moves outwards due to intercostal muscles and diaphragm contraction.
