Describe the character of Abraham pannel ( from novel gullivers travel.)

In the novel Gulliver's Travel, Abraham Pannell plays the role of Commander of the ship the "Swallow" in which the Gulliver had his first sail to Levant, Eastern Mediterranean where Gulliver spent a time of 3 and a 1/2 yrs. i.e. on Pannell's ship. Abraham was Gulliver's first employer and in the story the character of him is not that much highlighted.
