The authoress’s grandmother, is an illiterate woman as she never went to school. She could not read own so she used to listen the novel serial by her granddaughter and after she discuss the story with her friends. She was purely a religious woman and solely dedicated herself to god. Later, she learnt to read Kannada alphabet with the help her granddaughter.
