The postmaster was a compassionate and a kind person that understands and was amazed by the depth of faith in God that is shown by Lencho.
He was a well-behaved person that sends the collected money after collecting them from his colleagues to Lencho.
He makes sure that Lencho faith is intact with empathetic human being natures that comprehend the human being feelings.

the postmaster is described as a heartless man who is not able to feel the emotions of Ali and he is a unkind person amd even called him a pest ..but when he had a same situation as ali had he understood the pain amd emotion of Ali and understood the worth of letter
