Answer: In the poem dust of snow by Robert frost, the poet narrates the events of a day which he regretted, but once the snow from the hemlock tree fell onto him, there was a change in his emotions. The utilisation of an unusual tree ( the hemlock tree which is poisonous and bears small white flowers ) and a bird that is considered to bring bad luck ( the crow ), I believe that the poet tries to bring out the message that- “ Even the most unfortunate things which are not considered beautiful, can make the biggest difference “.

  • The poem, Dust of Snow by Robert Frost, plays back that the small things in life can make massive changes in our destiny. It also implies that if we can carry the hard times of life in pace, ultimately something will transpire to shift our circumstances into happier times.
