2. They are divided as monocot and dicot based on the number of cotyledons present.
3. Examples : Grass, Rose, Bamboo, Pea, etc.
The listed below are few characteristics of gymnospermic plants -
1. These plants possesses seeds but are not covered by any kind of wall so they are said to have naked type of seeds.
2. In them, the plant body has nature of diploid sporophyte.
3. Examples : Cycas, Ginkgo, Pinus, Cedrus, etc.
