  • They are known as Amphibians of Plants Kingdom.
  • Vascular tissues are absent in these plants.

Thallophyta :

  • These are the organisms in Plantae which do not have well differentiated body.
  • The organisms in this category are Algae and they are mostly aquatic.
  • Some examples are Spiritually and Ulothricx.

Pteridophyta :

  • The plants of this category is differentiated into roots, stems, leaves and also have vascular tissue for conduction of water and food.
  • They do not generate seeds rather they reproduce with the help of spores.

Note :

  • All these three categories are also known as Cryptogamae. The reproductive parts of these plants are hidden.
