Following are the characteristics of East flowing rivers:
1.The drain into the Bay of Bengal.
2.They flow through wide shallow valleys and form deltas at the mouth of the sea.
3.They have large basins and are longer as compared to west flowing rivers.
4.The East flowing rivers are Godavari, Mahanadi,Krishna,Kaveri etc.

godavari,Krishna,cauvery,mahanadi.are east flowing peninsular rivers of
India. godavari- it is the largest river of peninsula and the second
largest river in the world.krishna-the second largest east flowing river
at the peninsula,it rises north of mahabaleshwara . cauvery- it raises
from the bramhagiri hills in coorg district.mahanadi-rises near sihawa
in raipur district. these rivers that flow east to end up in the bay of
Bengal.
