DR.Avul pakir Jainulabdeen (A.P.J) Abdul kalaam was born on 15th October 1931 at Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu.He was the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007.He studied physics and aerospace engineering. He graduated in Science from St.Joseph's College,Trichy in 1954 and specialized in Aeronautical Engineering fromMadras Institute of TechnologyMIT in 1957.
