Louis XVI had to increase taxes because he found the treasury empty but the monarch did not have the power to impose taxes according to his will alone .navigate to call a meeting of the estates general which food then pass his proposal for new taxes.on 5th May 1789 ,Louis XVI call together an assembly of the estate general to pass proposals for new taxes .only splendent hall inverse release was prepared to host the delegates ..the first and the second is states and 300 representive each,Uber cities in rows facing each other on two sides ,by the 600 members of the third estate had to stand at the back ..
