Describe the circumstances under which the post office became a pilgrimage for ali.

ali's daughter got married ...now he realised the regret of separating after his daughters marriage.and now he stopped hunting as he don't want to separate small babies of birds and animals from their parents . 5 years spend,but till now his daughter hasn't come to meet him . even a single letter was not sent by her . so in hope that his daughter will send a letter he daily used to go to post office...as we go on pilgrimages to get our wish fullfill , ali also go there to get his wish fullfilled,so the post office was like a pilgrimage for ali..

Ali revered the building of post office as a pilgrim reveres the holiest shrine of his religious building. In simple words, the post office was like Mecca for him! Going to this building was the chief purpose of his existence. It was this purpose that was keeping him alive! He everyday went to the post-office in hope of receiving a letter from his daughter, Miriam.
