1. International: struggle for hegemony and Empire outstrips the fiscal resources of the state
2. Political conflict: conflict between the Monarchy and the nobility over the “reform” of the tax system led to paralysis and bankruptcy.

6. Economic hardship, especially the agrarian crisis of 1788-89 generates popular discontent and disorders caused by food shortages.

The circumstances which led the outbreak of revolutionary protest in France was that, on 14th July 1789 there spread a rumour that the king ordered to open fire on the citizens. By which the people started this revolution. On that Time the economical condition of France was not so good it's treasury become empty. There is also a reason behind the outbreak of this revolution was that, the society of France was categorised into three groups (1) Nobility (2) Clergy (3) Commons
