Faraday's law gives the information about electromagnetic induction

Explanation:

  • Faraday laws are used in explaining the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction
  • Let the north pole of bar magnet is placed near the coil through which a moving coil galvanometer is connected then we see that galvanometer shows some deflection which indicates the induction of electric current or emf in the coil. In this case it is assumed that near end of coil acquire north pole hence the current is in anti clockwise direction
  • When we move the bar magnet away from the coil as that of previous one then again we see the deflection in galvanometer but this time in other side so again induction occurs. In this case it is assumed that near end of coil acquire south pole hence the current is in clockwise direction
