•Composition-
*Consists of a Chief Justice & other judges.
•Qualifications-
*All the judges of the high Court must be an Indian citizen.
*He has been for at least 5 years a judge in subordinate Court or two or more such courts in succession.
or
*He has been for at least 10 years an advocate in subordinate Court or two or more such courts in succession.
*He is in the opinion of the President , a distinguished jurist.
•Tenure-
*Each high Court judge retires at the age of 62 years.
•Removal-
A high court judge can be removed in the case of 'proved misbehaviour or incapacity' by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister.The process of removal of high court judge is known as Impeachment.
