People of France were divided into three classes. Clergies, Rich people (kings personnel, elite and influential people) and common people. The common people did not have power, money or ownership of properties. There was not much employment in the country due to various policies of the nation. The king and elite were not interested in solving people's problems.
The king's army was cruel and punished the people for voicing their problems. People were given bad and rotten food often. At that time the intention and the orientation was to serve the king and obey the king, rather than serve the people. There was no protection against diseases. The sanitation facilities were very bad for the people. The elite were immersed in earning and spending lavishly.
The unjust conditions and the anger from the people's hunger led to outbreak in the people.
