in this poem the poet was confused that which road he should choose one road was grassy and wanted wear and the other one was fully used and leaves were trodden black so author chooses the road which was grassy because he figured it out that it is grassy and beautiful because no one has ever took this road , as ultimately decisions are very important in life these decision only decide ur life

The narrator describes the conflict he experiences when coming to a fork in the road during his morning wanderings. In the first stanza, the speaker has mixed feelings as to which road to take because they seem so similar. He tries to peer down one as far as he can and then considers the other.
