When the hailstrom destroys Lencho's crops, he gets very sad and thinks that God will help him because God helps everyone.He writes a letter to God in which he asks God to send him one hundred pesos.When lencho gets money he was shocked to see only seventy pesos. He writes another letter to God and complains about post office employees and says them 'a bunch of crooks' and requests God not to send money by post.
This story conveys that Lencho was good hearted man and he had complete faith in God.

Lencho had deep faith in god and believed that god's eye see everything even deep in ones conscience.He was a good hearted man He then wrote a letter to god, which was written in sadness and helplessness . He explained all the miseries he was going though and the help he needs. In second letter he wrote after recieving money with lot of confidence and being little furious.
