Nelson Mandela’s contribution in the struggle for independence of the black in South Africa was exemplary. He had to fight for their freedom for many years; he also remained in prison for many years.

He was sworn in as the country’s first black President. Mandela is remembered for the great work he did for the emancipation of the colored people in South Africa. He can be termed as the Gandhi of South Africa.
