Subhas Chandra Bose was one of the biggest contributor to the struggle of Indian Independence. Inspired by the ideas of Khudiram Bose, he was a patriot from childhood, participated in many rallies against the British government. He was a great revolutionary who believed the Britishers would leave our country if we are violent. When he was house arrested, he escaped the house and went to Germany where he met Hitler. Hitler told Bose to go to Japan and Japan releases the prisoners of war to Bose. These prisoners of war were the army of Bose. Thus army came to known as Azad Hind Fauj. From Japan, the army came to India by Burma. On Dec 30th 1943, Subhas Chandra Bose declared independence as he unfurled the flag of India.
