The reasons for censoring library materials as valid or invalid are as follows......
1) Some books are banned in school libraries as they may create violence or racism towards a caste..
2) Some books are invalid because they are of inappropriate for kids..
3) For those books which are valid , the reason is they are not harmful for anyone and is for entertainment purposes.
