Describe the difference in Hardy's and Ramanujans scientific methods

Explanation:

The one major difference that I would like to point out is that Hardy was more inclined towards the need for rigorous proof, much like other mathematicians at Cambridge, while what Ramanujan had was raw intellect, pure intellectual horsepower, so strong that he derived a century worth of mathematics, all in his head and just noted it down.

He is also known having said that his family deity gave him formulae in his dreams, this was only a result of him being unable to explain his extraordinary intellect, which just gave him formulae, without a written, formal approach with a proof.

This was also the reason why he had to suffer in his early years at Cambridge. But GH Hardy realised his Mathematical aptitude and convinced all other mathematicians of his capabilities.

Even though their scientific ethos were slightly different, the one thing that belittles every difference is that they both were extraordinary seekers in this temple of mathematics, with just one goal, to unravel the beautiful mathematical world.
