The barbaric attack on lectures from Andhra and Rayalaseeema, who came for spot valuation in Osmania University on Saturday, by a group of students claiming to be members of Telangana Student JAC reflects the sorry of state affairs and anarchic conditions that are currently prevailing in the region.

The protagonists of Telangana who always claim to have been waging a war for the self-respect of Telangana people should hang their heads in shame for creating so much hatred among Telangana people against Andhra and Rayalaseema people. This is self-destructive and will destroy social fabric of Telangana region which, if this trend continues, will descend into chaos.

Unfortunately, many selfish politicians who have scant regard for either Telangana or Telangana people, are supporting the barbaric attack of the so-called students who has, through their uncivilised behaviour, done more harm to the very self-respect of the Telangana people, for which they claim to be fighting.

Feeling disdained by the political parties, the Kakatiya University Students Joint Action Committee (KUJAC) has decided to field its members in the Assembly and Parliament elections.

JAC chairman S. Rajesh and a group of students opposed both the Congress and TRS parties for ignoring them in allocating party ticket for Assembly and Parliament seats. The JAC will field its members for Warangal East, Parkal, Palakurthy, Bhupalpalli and Jangoan Assembly constituencies and Warangal and Mahabubabad Parliamentary constituencies
