convectional rainfall is prevalent in the areas closer to the equator, where temperature constantly remains high. The high temperature leads to the high rate of evaporation. the hot air Rises and cools. the cooling results in condensation and formation of cumulus clouds. this clouds and heavy and localised rainfall which occurs mostly in the afternoon. the rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning.

2. OROGRAPHIC RAINFALL

3.FRONTAL RAINFALL

frontal rainfall occurs in the temperate regions when warm and cold air masses meet. deform affront the cold air is thick n remains closed to the ground however the one where Rises expands and cools the most unique condenses to form clouds this clouds bring rainfall the same process is also responsible for the formation of cyclones in the tropical regions and the rainfall received is called cyclonic rainfall .
