Describe the different ways by which the housefly contaminates our food

Housefly sits on garbage and the tiny particles get stick to its leg and then again when it sits on open food particles fall down and contaminate food. So its better to always keep food covered.

Flies regurgitate their food, meaning, as they eat they chew their food and spit it back out, and continue the process while consuming small portions. Flies also lay their larva, or babies in our food which eventually hatch and become maggots.
