You can select any one of the following options: Accept, Tentative, Decline and Propose New Time. If themeeting organizer has restricted themeeting proposals, then Propose New Time option will not be available. If you select Propose New Time, by default you tentatively accept the meeting.

How to accept a meeting:

Click on the Inbox folder.

Select the meeting request by clicking on it.

Choose Accept, Tentative, or Decline.

Choose to either edit your response before sending it, or send the response now. ...

After accepting or declining a meeting, it can be found in the Sent items folder.
