The digestive system is made up of the digestive tract and other organs that aid in digestion. The digestive tract is a series of hollow organs joined in a long, twisting tube from the mouth to the anus, consisting of the following: Mouth. Esophagus.

  • Jaws are covered with horny beak like structure, and are adapted for various modes of feeding.
  • Teeth are absent. Food is naturally swallowed and send further to alimentary canal for further digestion.

  • Behavioral adaptation: This adaptation is done in the way which involves the change in the natural acting or behavior of an organism.
  • Structural adaptation: This adaptation is changes occur in the organism’s physical aspect due to environmental effects.

Here the adaptation is Structural one, because body is light weighed for flying adaptation.
