The Modern Silk Route; One Belt, One Road is a project initiated by China in 2013 in order to develop the economy through the building of roads, railways etc for trading purposes as well as development of the infrastructure. 

The disaster management techniques and systems being developed include the following; 

(i) Disaster Relief: Disaster relief has been set up in case of any disaster that occurs on the silk route. 

(ii) Security Personnel: The employees of the Silk Route project are given proper security in order to avoid any threat. 

(iii) Strategic Airlift: In case of emergency, the employees of the Silk Route project can be saved through an airlift.
