Describe the early morning seen on Ali visiting the post office.

As it was a very cold morning, most of the town was sound asleep. Ali had to travel through the intense cold winds in his tattered clothes which he had to hold close to get protection.

He heard the sound of singing of women and the occasional barking of a stray dog, along with the sounds coming from the grinding in the grinding mill.
