There were many effects of February Revolution on Russia. They were:

=》 There were restrictions on public meetings by the government and associations were removed.

=》 Soviets like the Petrograd Soviet were setup everywhere in the country.

=》 Committees were formed in individual factory committees which began to question the way industrialists were running their factories.

=》 Soldiers' committees were formed even in the army.

=》 There was an increase in the popularity of Bolsheviks and the Provisional Government began to decline and it decided to take shift measures against the spreading discontent.

=》 It resisted attempts by workers to run factories and arrested leaders.

=》 The peasants and socialist leaders demanded a redistribution of land. Soon the llamd committees were formed and peasants seized land between July and September 1917.
