when a solid is heated it converts into liquid while when a liquid is heated it converts into gas.
by changing into different stages there is also change in their properties like,
solid is non compressible but if we heat solid and when it becomes liquid it becomes compresiible and when we heat liquid into gas it becomes highly compressible.
hope it helps plz mark my answer brainlist answer

The solid will turn into liquid do to heat. When heat affects the liquid, it will turn into a gas. The gas cools down in the air, and form a cloud. When it gets too heavy, it rains. The liquid will either turn back to a gas, do to heat, or will turn to a solid if it's cold. The cycle continues.
