the effects are as follows:
- Germany lost its overseas colonies and 10th of its population.
- 13% of its territories, 75% of iron and 25% of coal to France, Poland, Denmark and lithunia.
- the allied demailtarised Germany.
- Germany was forced to pay compensation of £6 billion.
- Germany was held responsible for the war.
- the allied armies also occupied the resource-rich Rhineland in 1920s.
- germans held the Weimar republic responsible for all this as they signed this harsh treaty.
