On 14 July 1789 the city of paris was in emergence and the king had to send troops. The day is related with the storming of Bastille. The commander of the prison was killed and the seven prisoners inside were all released. The fortress was completely demolished by people. Bastille represented the despotic power of the king and was focused of much resentment.
