pollination means the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to stigma from one flower to another flower.It consists of two types one is selfpollination and cross pollination. Fertilisation means fusion of male and female gametes and is considered to be a sexual reproduction

*pollination •Self pollination: the pollen grains from the anther (male part) falls on the stigma of the same flower. •Cross pollination: the exchange of pollen grains occur b/w 2 different flowers of same or varying species. *Fertilisation In this the male gamete from the pollen grain flows down to the ovule through the pollen tube and hence fertilises.
