during the daytime the guard cells surrounding the stomata photosynthesis increases their concentration by producing glucose. ..therefore they draw in the water form the adjacent cells by the process of endosmosis which makes them turgid and they open ..and the oxygen is given out through stomata and carbon dioxide from the atmosphere is taken in...
