Squirrels are everywhere around here. I once counted more than a dozen in my little back yard. They’re so common that you just learn to ignore them. That’s why I feel fortunate that this black one has taken up residence in one of the trees in my back yard. Or, possibly, he just lives nearby and I happen to see him in my yard a lot. Anyway, only about 1 in every 10,000 squirrels have this condition.
