We can do a step of processes to show that CO2 is formed in respiration :-

Steps :-

1. Take some lime water(Ca(OH)2) in a test tube.

2. Take a pipe/ straw and blow some air from your mouth into the test tube.

Observation :-

You will observe that the lime water turns milky.

Results :-

The following reaction will take place -

Ca(OH)2 + CO2 ---------> CaCO3 + H2O

Hence proved

Answer:During cellular respiration the cell uses oxygen to break down sugar. ... As the wood burns, it combines with oxygen and releases heat energy and carbon dioxide. When the cell uses oxygen to break down sugar, oxygen is used, carbon dioxide is produced, and energy is released

Experiment to prove that carbon dioxide is produced during respiration in germinating seeds. Put some germinating seeds in a conical flask. ... Carbon dioxide released during the aerobic respiration is absorbed by potassium hydroxide and creates a vacuum and causes rise of water in the bent tube
