Lencho's crops got destroyed in the Hailstorm. There was only one last hope remaining for Lencho, God. Lencho worked like a bull in the Field but knows to read and write well. So, he stared writing a letter to god demanding a 100 pesos to sow his field again. He had firm faith in God that he believed that God knows everything, even in one's deep conscience and will help everyone in adverse situation.

After Lencho's cornfield was destroyed by the storm, he was extremely worried regarding the sustenance of his family. All he had now was his immense faith in God and the belief that God would help him. He went to the post office to write a letter. A letter to God requesting his assistance for his troubles. He was sure God would help him and expected nothing less than 100 pesos in the response letter.
