Democracy doesn't mean anything. It only means that "PEOPLE RULE" .

Political Equality : All citizens irrespective of caste, creed, race, religion etc are considered to be equal before law and should enjoy the political rights. Right to vote to every citizen should be given.

Rule of Law : In democracy a country can be ruled within limits set my constitution.

Independent judiciary : Judiciary must be free from any control of the executive or the legislature. Judges must be honest.

Citizen Participation : Citizens should participate in everything provided by the government. Marches, Ralley's etc.

Respect for basic human rights : Basic human rights means values like equality, respect, freedom and independence. All these should be given to every single citizen.
