on 8 March 1917 thousands of women marched on streets of petrograd clamouring bread the workers organized protest March there and because of the tragic experience in first world war soldiers also join them.they captured petrograd and they thrown the king Nicholas ii from power this is february revolution(actually it took place on March but the Russian calendar is behind international calendar ).a provisional government was formed under Alexander kerensky too.but this revolution couldn't able to make much development and because of these october revolution was led under Lenin and they make many development in Russia.

- Russian use the Julian calendar and it is in the month of February 1917. It happens when riots, as well as strikes over the scarcity of food, erupted in Petrograd. The condition of women is totally changed after the February revolution. Most of the women participated in this revolution.
