The first freedom struggle of 1857 was a glorious nd revolutionary event in the history of india. The event of 1857 was a first armed revolution which was so widespread nd powerful that it shook the foundation of British empire. In the year 1857 the common man, landlords, rulers of smaller states take participate in this struggle against foreign rule, with great valour to out up end to the British rule. Lots of peoples sacrifice their lives in this struggle. That's why this struggle of 1857 was know first struggle of freedom.
