(1)Houses - The whole town was fortified .Houses of poor people were single storeyed and consisted of 2-3rooms. Houses of rich people were double storeyed and consisted of 5-7rooms

(2) Roads-There were two main roads-1from north to south and 3-from east to west. They had a gap of 9.75metre. The roads met each other at right angles.

(3) Public bath- There were public baths used in ancient times during festivals and occasions.They had a hyginec system of putting fresh water in and dirty water out.
