1) Blood circulation:

The heart pumps oxygenated blood to replace the oxygen-poor blood through two large veins- the inferior and superior vena cava. The oxygen poor blood shifts to the atrium. However, as it contracts, the blood flows from your atrium into your ventricle through the tricuspid valve. Blood leaves the heart through the pulmonic valve into the pulmonary artery as the ventricle contracts. It's oxygenated in the lungs, passes into the left aorta and flows throughout the body.

2) Exreation:

This is the process of eliminating waste from our body. There are 4 ways of doing this

Lungs- The lungs remove carbon dioxide, which is something the body doesn't need, thus removing it through the respiratory system.

Skin- We have sweat glands all over our body where skin covers it. The skin gets rid of unneeded water, salts and other waste through the integumentary system.

Large intestine- After we eat, the food is digested in our stomach and the remainder is moved to our intestines. The large intestines remove solid waste and some water in the form of feces through the digestive system.

Kidneys: When we drink, our kidneys are filled with waste. It removes urea, excessive water from our blood by the urinary system

3) Digestion:

This is the process of digesting food. Digestion begins with the mouth, when you take the first bite of your food. The teeth break it into little pieces while your saliva breaks it down even more so that your body can absorb it. The throat, or pharynx carries it to the esophagus. It's a muscular tube extending from the pharynx to the stomach. It contracts until the food is delivered to the stomach where the stomach acid mixes and grinds it. The enzymes further break it down until its taken to the small intestine. The small intestine continues the process of breaking down food by using enzymes released by the pancreas and bile from the liver. Finally, the large intestine is reached. Waste is removed through the colon with a series of contractions

4) Respration:

Respiration takes place within the lungs. In order to breathe, we use our intercostal muscles. When we breathe in, our intercostal muscles contract ad our sternum moves up and out along with our ribs. Then, our diaphragm flattens. The diaphragm is essential for proper breathing. the rib cage, and it is vital for proper respiration. When the diaphragm contracts, the volume in our thoracic cavity expands, reducing pressure and allowing us to draw air into our lungs. When we exhale, our intercostal muscles and our diaphragm relax.

Internally, the oxygen rich air we’ve inhaled is pumped into the red blood cells, enriching the blood with oxygen. The red blood cells expel the carbon dioxide they’re carrying into the alveoli. Carbon dioxide is a waste product, so it's gotten rid of
