the fluid filled cavity / space present between the body wall and the alimentary canal is known as body cavity. The body cavity which is lined by mesoderm is known as coelom
a) coelomates= animal possessing colon I called ceolomates example Annelida, mollusca, Arthropoda, echinoderms, hemichordates and chordates.

in some animals, the body cavity is not line by mesoderm, instead, the mesoderm is present are scattered pouches in between the ectoderm and endoderm .
b) pseudocoelomates = animals possessing body cavity filled with pouches of mesoderm scattered in it are called pseudocoelomates. example aschelminthes

c) acoelomates = the animals in which the body cavity is absent are called acoelomates. example Platyhelminthes

<b><h3>Coelomates</b></h3>

The animals which possess true coelom are called eucoelomates or coelomates.

Example : Annelids, echinoderms and Chordates.

<b><h3>Pseudocoelomates</b></h3>

The mesoderm is present as scattered pouches in between the ectoderm and endoderm. Such as body cavity is called pseudocoelom and animals are called pseudocoelomates.

Example : Round worms

<b><h3>Acoelomates</b></h3>

The animals which do not have coelom are called acoelomates.

Example : Sponges, cnidarians, Ctenophores and flat worms.
